there is a lot of hard plastics in the kona, although its not overly uncommon in ev's im told. keeping price down i guess. if it were a petrol car i would have dismissed it, although tbh how often do you touch the dash etc. so at least it will wear well.
Which? magazine rated the Kona ev really highly. Hope you get sorted with the Nissan.
