Nope, they (I guess like me), can just feel the very obvious difference in engine smoothness/responsiveness when better fuel is used, or the reduction in such when it isn't - BUT it helps to have a performance-designed car to notice that difference.
Anyway, each to his or her own, I'm not here to push premium fuels - just stating what my car undoubtedly runs best on.
