Now we're getting somewhere... But it isn't *that* one; it's something else that's been much more judiciously (and scientifically) designed - and works way, WAY better!

What if a device had been invented that virtually eliminated the effect you describe and rendered it a non-issue, thus allowing the arm and cartridge to work truly symbiotically, unhindered by said effect - how much better might the music reproduced sound?
