Right, Friday afternoon meltdown time.
Tried again to get pictures onto forum, this time of an amp I'm putting up for sale.
Took some pictures with my iPhone 5S, got them onto the laptop (somehow), but when selecting the photos to put on Tinypic I get to click on corner of pic to select. Then when I click on next pic it deselects the previous pic. So I get to do them one at a time. And they're coming out rotated again! I've searched all over and can't find a way to rotate these.
Geoff's instructions, which I'm sure are very helpful, may as well be an A to Z of Manchester while my laptop thinks it's in Albania.
The whole thing is too long winded, and I haven't the patience any more. So this is me officially saying F**k off to image hosting, and my stuff's going on eBay instead.

So it's not just me then, that makes me feel a bit better.
Thing is, I have NO KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER USE WHATSOEVER. And it asks me to do things that make no sense to me. I don't know what IMG is, or jpeg, and when trying this posting pics thing, the whole thing has too many moving parts.
I know I'm hopeless when it comes to this kind of thing (and having bugger-all interest doesn't help), but no one wants to be reminded of this constantly and I sense that there are little gremlins inside the laptop that are shouting "C'mon Pony, you really are thick as pig shit".
Maybe there are courses available for people like me - like "How to post a pic if you're a bit of a dick" (level one).

I'm assuming you use a Windows PC. If you do, just open the photo of choice and you can rotate it any way you like using the curved arrows at the bottom. They'll be saved in that orientation.
Tinypic is also logical once you've used it a few times, it just takes a little experimentation and practice.
It's worth learning, because being able to handle images is very useful.
There are also photo editing utilities that allow you to do all sorts of handy things with images.

its like most things. its about wanting to do it and then learning the short, steep curve, or cant be bothered like my brother where it comes to anything pc...he just calls menot as if he's thick ffs, he was a teacher.

I had "The Race" by Yello rattling round my head all the way home, and when I finally got it to leave, it took everything you taught me with it.It's not like I haven't shown him how to do it
Right now I'm playing "Stella" by Yello on vinyl in the hopes that it'll bring back some of your imparted knowledge.
By the way Alan, the Silver Night is sounding fab! Somehow it sounds more dynamic at lower volumes, and that may just be me, but I'm loving it anyway. Thank you so much for that.
