The ecvt is what it is really. If you try driving it like a boy racer or have a heavy right foot you won't get on. These cars are meant to be driven with intelligence as to the engineering. It went up to 70 quickly enough by not booting it. Was near silent under 35 as it's usually on electric Rear visibility will be an issue for many not used to driving vans or trucks. But it has a host of gadgetry to tell you if anything is there which works very well
Seats are great. The only drawback is the rather old infotainment unit. Well the software really which isn't currently class leading but does the job.
No apple car play alas but you can't have everything on my budget with my needs.

They will fit a hoist in boot too at a hugely discounted price.

The staff were superb; well so far anyway and a mile ahead of BMW

Quality... I love the matt finish. I'd have a C63 in a shot. The only thing that's stopping me is the potential fuel costs when driving abroad to Italy!!

That's why I went for the Brabster (and a diesel). The 38 mpg, on motorway runs, was the deal sealer!

Yeah the C63 is a fave of mine, they look brutal and sound fantastic. Unfortunately only 15mpg on a good day, and you could get that into single figures if you were "going for it".

If money was no object I'd be going for an SL55 or 63 AMG. Those things have been known to embarrass Ferraris.

I used to be able to get this old beastie into single mpg with a bit of spirited driving. I loved my Audi S6 but boy could it drink petrol.

A bloke at work has a C350CDi but is currently eyeing up a C63AMG saloon - I am doing nothing to dissuade him!

I wouldn't either, if it suits his type of driving. It just wouldn't be practical for me. It's approximately 1200 miles from our house here, to where my family live in Italy. Can you imagine the cost of that trip (return), in a C63, averaging about 12 miles per gallon?

It's expensive enough in the Brabster!

Fabulous motor this... great drive too. on my testdrive mostly on motorway and a roads so electric wasnt on as much as my usual usage will be i still attained over 59mpg. smooth and comfortable, and lots of nice gadgets....

ordered one in pearl white. and black leather. black and silver diamond cut 18" alloys etc...

Why white, though? For me, it's one of the most boring colours for a car..... It looks equally as uninspiring clean, as it does dirty!

A nice metallic gun-metal grey, blue or red would've been far nicer, IMO.

I don't see how anyone could describe the CH-R's appearance as "bland". I think they look pretty sharp, with styling trickled down from Lexus. I just wonder if the performance may not match the looks. Only a test drive will tell.

I can tell you it feels like being in your car, to a very similar degree.

I got driven in one for about 5 miles to the local shopping centre. They were giving me a lift whilst they tried to correct being fucking useless for three consecutive visits.

And on another occasion they lent me one for a while, just before I bought the Porsche.
