Nope, I don't think that is true.

I only have extensive experience of the Wigwam, but that forum has simply accepted the fact that some dealers will flood their postings with marketting BS, (as we have seen here by our good ex-friend Ashley) and has found a way to limit and contain this by having a separate dealer section where they can BS to their hearts' delight and cracking down quite hard where this setup is abused.

I think that is a good & pragmatic system for addressing what is an inevitably ongoing problem.
