Most kids seem to live in a virtual world possibly from hours of playing computer games where if you get annihilated you just jump up with a new body and carry on. No road sense whatsoever especially on a bicycle.
In so far as driving standards go it makes me wonder if those who learn now or in the years since the cost of lessons have soared limit the amount of lessons to suit their pocket giving them much less time on the road. They may have enough skill to pass a test but driving well is so much more than that.
We recently saw a P plate driver stuck at a roundabout as they were clearly struggling with using it!
Ah yes the school run - don't you just love it! There is a secondary school on the edge of the village and twice a weekday the roads near the school are clogged with cars parked half on the pavement, and in a queue sometimes 50m long, leading up to a road junction. This means if you are driving past these parked cars towards the junction and a car turns left off the main road, you have to reverse all the way back as the car turning in has right of way. It's a real pain in the arse.Quote:

Tennant was a good Doctor let down by poor scripts but once he left and it started getting woke that was the end for me.
