I remember someone saying the D5 was rare but I keep seeing them, probably a pair a month if not more.
Put it this way take away the loveable Auction site they are rare, came out in the early 70's.. Just don't mix them up with the later 'DM5'

Faulty from those guys means it was marked as such when it came in and it hasn't been tested at all. So that wouldn't be the cause of it being marked faulty. I've bought stuff from them before and it's been fine, working ok but buy as if faulty.Quote:

Like a beefier Whafedale Dovedale III. Not unpleasant, but a bit 'blowsy' in the seventies style. The balance is very similar to the Goodmans Magister. Not worth a fortune in my view.Quote:

I nearly sold mine a few months ago as it wasn't being used, but luckily I have suitably sensitive speakers for it and "got real" and started using it again, and haven't looked back since... I wouldn't swap it for anything now...
