    Funny how older Hi-Fi is going. Ten years ago you wouldn't have paid more than £40 for one of these.

    Big vintage Sansui X7000 speakers. Look like they'll go cheap. These are serious speakers! Very nice.

    Great piece of kit at the time. I liked mine rather a lot. Can't remember how much I paid for it, certainly wan't £175. I can't remember what batteries it took but I think the size was governed by the battery so it was probably one of dem big ones, the number of which also escapes me

    Yeah. I had one too, wasn't a bad little unit, but not quite as good as the Quantum pre-amp I had at the time.

    Thats my thinking, although IIRC B200 are bextrene & DSB208 are doped paper so probably not interchangeable without xover mods despite being the better drivers.
