Apparently the bottom one is a passive radiator. There's a thread here started by a Simon P. from 2009 who had a pair. A pair went for just £72 at the end of last month.

The T-2 was Yamaha's TOTL from the late 70s-early 80s so the sort of time when analogue tuning was being replaced by digital. The digital display in this case is a frequency counter. I like the MkII's they are fine sounding speakers, never heard MK1's though which is what these are. The MKII's are fitted with HF1000 tweeters incidentally ;)
These sound nothing like the Mk.II. They have the HF1300 tweeter and sound like a Ditton 15 Mk.I with less bass.Quote:
