He's probably totally out of his depth with this Gordon and is now just bullshitting. I'll carry on keeping an eye on him, could be entertaining to see how it turns out.

More 'nutter' eBay pricing. Five grand for a pair of empty Tannoy Canterbury cabinets??? They may be vintage and desirable to some, but not worth a fraction of this asking price.

Not until 2002. However, yes, it is built like a tank. Shame this one is missing the remote ( with its original spelling mistake!) but it shouldn't be too difficult a repair.

I like the MkII's they are fine sounding speakers, never heard MK1's though which is what these are. The MKII's are fitted with HF1000 tweeters incidentally

These sound nothing like the Mk.II. They have the HF1300 tweeter and sound like a Ditton 15 Mk.I with less bass.

Rare and excellent sounding Moth Series 30 MM/MC phono stage. I had one of these a few years ago, very musical, a surprisingly good unit! Collect only from West Lothian.
