    Aha,

Didn't spot that bit. If anybody wants it, I could have it delivered here and send it on or back with any visitors if you can wait.

Another load of bollox? KEF Cadenzas were a good quality, decent sounding speaker for their day, but "Studio Reference Monitor Speakers? The f*ck they were!

Just more rubbish from a clown trying to hype his sale up.

(if he's a member here and reads this, well sorry, but you have only yourself to blame)
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The reference monitor tag has always been hype.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

    He's not got a clue!

That's hopeless description and if it is a 510, it's an MM anyway.

The cartridge is £50 new and a used AT headshell is worth £20 maybe, so why he think it's worth £150 goodness knows. Some idiot may buy it.

I see the price is now £130. Maybe he's read this. It's still £90 too much!

Why would an AT cartridge have an Ortofon stylus?

But the playback is outstanding. Must be true, he says so!

Not sure I'd want to buy an MM cart where the coil assembly can be seen moving.

The T-2 was Yamaha's TOTL from the late 70s-early 80s so the sort of time when analogue tuning was being replaced by digital. The digital display in this case is a frequency counter. I have a T-2 here and it sounds absolutely stunning on the right broadcast. It also has very good RF performance, the best of any Yamaha if the specs are to be believed.

Could be a good buy for someone now that the radio DSO has been postponed indefinitely.
Did anyone on here buy it? It only went for 100 Euros which is a superb bargain for a pristine T-2! I've seen them go for 2-3 times that price.
