I've just finished watching 'Casablanca' (yet again) on ITV3. It's still a bloody marvellous film with a fantastic cast.
I checked the reviews on IMDB. It's the only movie I've seen reviewed there with a near endless string of 10/10 scores and well deserved, it's one of the greatest 'classic' films.
One thing I did notice that I'd not registered before. Ingrid Bergman's eyes seem to glow. Very strange and striking too. Nobody else in the film has this.

Was the way they lit it and others. It was called chiaroscuro. A 3 point system. Of course she was a.m natural behind or in front of the lens.
