The second Pioneer PL-12D I picked up. Serviced and cleaned, new belt fitted, cracked lid repaired and working fine. Sounds surprisingly decent with the Shure M75ED 2 on it.
The repairs to the lid. It may not be too pretty, but it is solid. Fixed with 'Plastic Weld', not glue.
The first one I got has been passed on to a mate. Might keep this one (got a feeling there may be another in the loft too).
If you ever want to pass on the loft one a home waiting here - my dad had a few so want to have one for nostalgia let me know...
