Not sure what they all changed but if memory serves the port was changed. Mk 2 looked nicer too but mk1 was the better I think

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".
“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”
“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Bit rich for me at the moment.......but one day. And a weee bit too big for my listening space, another pair of the L710s would do me nicely. Never heard speakers do sax and bass like them.......astonishingly lifelike.
Bet they would sound lovely in that big room of yours with a Krell up 'emand they really do bass properly without a wall behind them.
Better than a big screen tv for crimbo? Oh yes.

LOL, the Krell ate up 90 per cent of the big telly budget. No more spending for me for a while.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.
I sort of justified the Krell on the ground that classic hi-fi will hold its value better than pound notes. It's rationalising I know but the same applies to the Beards.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.
I know exactly where you're coming from, I'm frantically trying to sell some speakers and Renaissance Audio monos before the Beards disappear into the ether.
We are the love we leave behind.
Good luck with it man
