There's no way you could use those Deccas for DJ duties, the stylus arrangement is far too delicate. I would guess that this was put together buy somebody with a lot of cash who wanted to play at being a DJ in their own home.
I haven't, and I've seen a lot of speakers over the last 60 odd years.![]()

I'm Gone.
I remember this console, it was in the Colony Club in London, co owned by George Raft and Meyer Lansky and other Mafia types, it was used to play records not to "DJ" I only went there as a kid, probably around 1970 and there was no back cueing going on, just playing of records. Mainly very cool jazz IIRC

Heybrook pre, looks like it comes with the power amp too, but power amp needs work.
Kraken, Saturn, Emotion, Flying V Rocket, Planets.
Decent looking Tannoy Eatons in Barnsley. Sensible £400 price. These are 'proper' Tannoys with the 10" HPD dual (pepperpot) concentric driver. Ideal for those who don't have room for the big models.

I like them a lot. I've had five pairs of these great sounding speakers. They have rubber cone surrounds that don't rot away!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
