Cool New Longlife Quad Performance Exhaust System for the Brabster

Guys, as previously discussed a while back, I've changed the old Brabus quad exhaust system for a bespoke-designed one from Longlife. See pics below.

This is a 'straight through' design (no back-box), with high-performance manifold and intake components, designed to maximise air-flow and significantly increase bhp:

Apologies for the rather disturbing reflections of daftee-moi taking the pics in my dressing gown and slippers!

Before, as the car used to be, fitted with the Brabus exhaust system. You can see how much more the tailpipes protruded from the rear bumper, which for me just didn't look right (they were also the wrong shape):

I'm sure you'll agree that the new (wider) tailpipes look much neater and just suit the car more. The increase in performance, from the new quad exhaust alone, including the upgrades to the intake system (and the nice 'growl' the engine makes now), is pretty amazing and rather more than I'd hoped for!

All in all, I'm very happy with the results

    Marco.

Lol... Did Percy poke you in the eye?

Cheers, matey. Really pleased with the way the car looks now (and sounds), and above all, DRIVES!

Just need to get it enhancement detailed (see here: http://www.clbcarcare.co.uk/enhancem...tail-164-c.asp), which will be happening this week, and I'm done!

Back from Silverstone today after a fantastic MotoGP.
There was a Barry sheene tribute display with some bikes that i’m sure a few of you will remember from way back then.
I took a few (not very good pics) to rekindle the memories of the era…

Sounds like a fun day. Shame we don't see big two strokes any more.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Does my two stroke Flymo count!

I gave my tiny 1972 Kawasaki GA2A90 (90cc) two stroke to a friend many years ago, it's still immaculate, probably a collectors item now.
