If theirs only corrosion on the driver chassis but they are working i dont see how corrosion would matter in this instance?

He says the protective metal covers have come off the 66s' tweeters, but from the picture, the entire dome is missing. If they're corroded on the outside then the metalwork on the inside could be corroded as well, including the motor units on the drive units.
