    Possibly the bass unit surrounds rotted, tweeters salvaged and some other bass units in the large cabinets.

    That's most likely. The 295 8 had foam surrounds that rotted pretty fast, unlike the 295 A which has rubber roll surrounds and seem to last indefinitely.

    Shame really. They could have been repaired easily enough. I just happen to have a box in this room containing two ten inch paper Tannoy cones with rubber surrounds that would have gone straight in .

    You know what gets up my back when you Enquire about something but get replies 3/4 days in between your initial enquiries.. The excuse is always 'I have a life outside the computer!

    Utter rubbish.. people with computers are generally on them at least everyday + the fact if i knew someone was interested in something i was selling i am sure i would go out my way to check in regular..
