'Theirs is the Glory' 1946 - SPIKE now

Drama, documentary film retelling the battle for Arnhem. Mixture of recreation, original footage and the voice of a war correspondent recording his observations. Acting a bit wooden in places (troops who actually served in Arnhem are the main cast), but overall interesting film, that tells the story in a dry, factual way compared to the big Hollywood production A Bridge to Far was.

Easter is different things to different people. It was a significant date before Christianity came along. Christianity adopted it the same way they adopted 25th December/ Yule. They are not historical dates of Jesus's birth and death just convenient times to celebrate/remember them that fitted in with the pagan cultures Christianity replaced.

Like Hindu saying 'sadly, most people don't know what Divali is'. If your not a Hindu you probably don't know. Or care.

Alcatraz, the true story, deathbed confession (2015) From Amazon prime content

The true story, based on a Deathbed Confession, about what really happened to Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers who escaped from Alcatraz Prison in 1962. They made it- but what happened next is shocking. Investigated by the US Marshals.

Of course they made it - they had Clint Eastwood with them.

Thinking about it, are there any Clint Eastwood films where he dies? I can think of a couple of John Wayne films where John Wayne dies: The Alamo and The Shootist. But none where Clint buys the farm.
