Bargains on ebay? (Part 2)

Think I have a few that look like that in the garage.

It went for £437! Some people must have more money than sense.

I looked at my old cans, they all look much like that one, but one has "Pratts" name on it, true.

That one seems to have been "done up" mine is more like the ROP one, similar colour.

I also have Redline, National Bezlole, and Shell cans, all look similar.

These were all my later Father's, I needed them recently after filling my car with fuel recently, the wrong fuel. I filled the tank with diesel, about 8 gallons, it's a petrol car.

Amazingly, the car got me home and survived, 26 year old Volvo.

lol! yes, a little bit of running on. It was certainly pinking quite a bit, that's probably an understatement.

The engine must be knackered. You can get away with running a diesel on petrol but not the other way around.

I'm surprised it got you home Alex . This certainly wouldn't have worked in a new car . Years ago I borrowed ny brothers car and did the same thing . I put a couple of gallons of diesel into the tank and then had to fill the tank with petrol to dilute the diesel . Worked , but cost me a little bit more than I expected

It has been OK, runs the same as before the incident, has over 200,000 miles on the clock.
