I bought one of these recently from a US seller and it is a superb cartridge. The seller of the above item was also selling an MC-1S (which is the normal half inch mount variant; the MC-1x plugs straight into an SME headshell mount) but it was gone within an hour or so of listing and I was too slow!Originally Posted by struth

I believe there is a remote for these. I've never had one with those I've owned though. I suspect it may be an optional extra like the phono stage. Presumably, any Denon amplifier or system remote is likely to work with it.
