Well.....technically it won't be fine, it technically fails the MOT, however, as the DPF check is visual only at the moment the car should pass. The whole DPF issue opens up a can of worms both practically and morally, they are fitted for a reason. Given the whole VAG emmissions-gate saga expect a lot of scrutiny of diesel emmissions and particulates in the future...
