Yeah. It's ridiculous. I remember seeing these at boot sales for a song, along with many of the other now overpriced 'vintage classics' gear. I turned down a pair of LS3/5a speakers for £20 years ago. Bought a pair of Tannoy IIILZs for £50 instead.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The sellotape holding the cones up suggests they may have been used like that. I'd not be surprised if the coils have rubbed in the magnet gap and shorted. As parts for restoration they'd be OK though. I'd not pay more than £200 (if I actually wanted them
