I fancied a listen to some early Beethoven piano sonatas but couldn't decide on the pianist, so I tried a few samples ....
To my surprise, it was the Jando I stayed with.
He has a lightness of touch and a carefree sense of impetuous power that makes the music the fun I think it should be, and that seems to elude the others to a greater or lesser extent.
Whodathunkit? Not me.
