It's just good old market forces at work. If they're over-priced, they won't sell. I don't see that the motive for the sale comes into it, really, though a good sob-story might help push the sale along.

Just to say I picked these up for the study system. They sound great! Actually a better match for the small room than the JPW P1's I've been using (which need a recone - I might even have a crack at that myself, the surround are only about £12 off ebay). I haven't unpacked the stands (they disassemble) but will tuck them away for possible future use.Originally Posted by mad-moon

Numpty selling system. He says the amp is 400 watts. Well it is, but that's the mains rating. It's probably about twenty watts output. What he doesn't realise, is that the speakers are made by Isophon and have super quality drive units in them and are worth more than he's asking for the lot.
