On similar lines was the EMI 15-15 Amp. I still have one of these, although not with EMI badge on, I wonder if you remember who bought up all the discontinued parts and re-badged them? I will be surprised if you know the answer!
Was it a fella called Les, with a shop on Edgware Road (and in Acton for a while) which I can't recall the name of. Was it RTVC? He marketed his own amps etc. Nice chap. Did many deals with him. Mainly for speaker parts.

I see you beat me to it by answering your own question.

He was just up the road from Denys Trickett's wonderful little emporium.

Yes, adverts by RTVC in magazines, they sold the EMI 1515 amp, slightly modified as the RTVC 20+20.

RTVC sold a lot of speaker drive units, can you remember their biggest sellers make?

I recall (and bought) a lot of Decca, EMI and Goodmans stuff. Some Peerless and Audax too.

It was few years earlier I bought what I regard as my first proper Hi-Fi amp from Tandy a few doors down from RTVC. After a few sad experiences with Amstrad, I bought a Japanese Olson integrated from them. It sounded pretty damn good to me. Never seen another though. Kept it until I bought a new Ferrograph F307 from Lasky. That was a disaster. Nothing but trouble. It went back several times until I got fed up and was given a Rotel RA-611 in lieu of a refund. Great amp!

Tandy amps and receivers, mainly Realistic named, were generally pretty good. I vaguely remember the name Olson. Rotel RA-611 is getting modern!
