    I borrowed one of these last week. It sounded very nice, but I didn't realise I was running it in passive pre mode! The +16 db mode is apparently the active pre setting.

    Should be OK as it goes. I'm using a pair of Tannoy Lancasters in the back of my Fiat Panda!

    Just picked them up...Excellent condition well looked after and sounding VERY VERY good.

    They should sound decent enough. The main drivers are close relatives of those used in the System 600 nearfield monitor.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
