Heh. The only one I went to was flooded out. The river overflowed and turned the campsite into a swamp; everyone ended up in the beer tent. When I asked my son where he wanted to go (meaning which pub), he said "Home". So we did. Chickens.

Got to bung a new exhaust on the Suzuki and adjust the handbrake today (MOT due). That'll be fun in this heat!

Met office says 19 degrees for Greater London today so not exactly a Turkish Bath. Wet and chilly here, too.

It was nudging 29 here the other day. It's generally the warmest spot in Britain (Heathrow area).

I have a good outdoor thermometer in the shade that records peaks and dips.

Bugger! I had a go at it and as usual the nuts at the centre flange are rusted solid. Grinder out tomorrow. Then I'll have to drill out the remains of the captive (spot welded) bolts and put new ones in. I half expected this. Last exhaust I did was just the same.

Got to fit a new aerial too. That'll be fun, the cable goes down through the screen pillar. Then a new timing belt.
