I have bid on the ones we discussed yesterday. the guy is German I think. Look like I may get em. he thinks they would be fine as the impedence will change in the box etc and likely go up towards 5/6 ohms... their nominal 8 wattt

It's free, easy to use and stops you getting carried away and placing silly bids . I normally decide my bid amount and select a five second lead in. Some think it's unfair, but I don't see it that way. After all, you can still be outbid. It also has the advantage of not showing your hand and encouraging others to try and outbid you. I've won a few goodies with it.

Here's a rare but rather good CD player. The NAD 524. It was well reviewed when released. I bought one. It makes a decent transport too. At £49 'Buy it Now' this is worth having.

I used to use one Geoff. forgot which now and yes Its not really unfair although annoying if your on the receiving end. but if you really want then you have to bid higher. No one has touched them since they've been on and thats a while now. he said himself that the drivers are pretty much unknown over here but are rated highly in Germany. Might have cut my throat by publishing it here but its only fair I suppose.

Used to use a nad cd/dvd player for years and it was very good.. clunky to use but sounded super. still got it but its needing a laser.

No. You found the listing. Every other person who might be after something similar can do their own search. I doubt many here would be after anything like those (except me ).

I snipe bid highish anyway. Most of the time it works. Just never bid more than the item is worth to you. I'm happy to pay comparatively over the odds sometimes, if I decide I'm definitely having something.
