Get picoreplayer https://sites.google.com/site/picoreplayer/home then you can get rid of Volumio and have a squeezebox to fit in with your infrastructure. Squeezeplug/Max2Play is also a possibility although that is not as lightweight (but it does include the option of LMS on a RPi!)
