The thing is.. I was going to go back to a one box solution but now I may just opt for the Pi jobbie because I could really do with some room and my transport and DAC are huge babies weighing in at around 30kg+.

It's not in my Browse section, mate. All that's there is my NAS box (containing the music on my hard-drives) and WEBRADIO.... That's the problem: until I can see Spotify listed there, I can't select it and use it.
Tried rebooting the system, but that has had no effect. I have, of course, entered my Spotify details in the Streaming Services section, and switched Spotify to 'On'.

eac can sometimes do that if there is either problems with disc or you select the wrong album info if there is more than one possible. normally it takes 5 mins a disc approx. if i have one thats troublesome i usually just use foobar or jriver to rip it...

are you sure your Spotify credentials are correct ? Stupid question but do you have a "Premium" account ?
PS. if you have an iphone, ipad, etc. you will see a "volumio" airplay speaker in the "control center" (the icon is a rectangle with a triangle in it) Click it and your music will be streamed to the Raspi DAC. This is in fact a better way to browse your Spotify music IMHO maybe not for the absolutely best SQbut far more convenient than browsing the Library with the web interface.

Yup. I successfully set up a Premium account on Spotify (from a free one) last night, for this very purpose. Then entered my Spotify name and password into the Streaming Services section of Volumio, which it has accepted, so it's all there; for some reason it's just not listing Spotify in the Browse section, so I'm then able to select it.
