    Probably paid silly money too. Mine came from a boot sale for less than a tenner about ten years ago. I'd sooner have a pair of Mk.1 Celestion Ditton 15s or MS Pageant IIs.

    Ditton 15's ...Thats the ones I gave my neighbour. he is using them with his quad 33 303 set up. Never liked them personally

    Why would you bother when the best modern examples are so superior (one area where real progress has been made in audio), unless sourcing specific NOS speaker plugs and sockets for a specific make of vintage amp?
