Me too! ...Don't think it looks very good and the feet look like the ones I bought, which I can assure you were not expensive.

That was reviewed in one of the mags and they quite liked it.

I believe the Technics 1200/1210 lid is the correct size to fit, it may want a bit of tinkering to use hinges, which I wouldn't bother with anyway. There was a guy selling Techie fit, plain lift off custom lids for £25 on eBay, which were the perfect size, but I don't know if they are still available.
If you're ever considering using a Technics cover on your Toshiba Geoff - don't! It won't fit! Smaller. For some reason I never measured my Toshiba and just ordered the Technics cover. Perhaps mine is bigger than yours.

    Nevermind…

    PS
    My deck measures 470 x 370mm.

I have two lids Stephen, they're serviceable, but not exactly mint.

The lids I referred to on eBay were custom items and I did check the quoted dimensions. They would have fitted the Toshiba. Don't know if they're still available though.

I don't know… The item I got is custom made and said to be an exact copy of the Technics cover. It is nice. Just small!

Having just tried the original cover on, I find that is a small fit too. Hmm…

Thursday evening after work I saw a Thorens TD 160 listed with a BIN price of £35 including carriage. Bit surprised at it still being available I had a look. Instead of a 160 I found it was actually a 150 without armboard or arm. Anyway, I bought it as I've fancied one for a while. That was at about 16.50 and it arrived the following day, which did surprise me. Last night I did mention that it was in fact a 150 and the seller apologised. This morning he was up early and found the armboard and arm and was ready to have them posted on Monday, but I told him I would be happy with just the armboard, which he will post on Monday.

The seller is sithnamara and he's a genuine and most helpful seller.

He is a good guy, very knowledgeable too, surprised about the mistake, but easily done.

I bought a Quad 303 from him several years ago, he had serviced it, and it was in lovely condition.
