    I've got this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Raphaelite...item3a966c3f0e

Sounds bloody marvellous. Cost me getting on for £500 with shipping & duty. A lot of dosh for 4 watts per channel perhaps, but worth every penny. It drives my big Tannoys OK. Those 6V6 valves have a sound of their own!!

These look very nice indeed . Will they run on 240V . I have an AG500 which outputs a steady 230V , would this be suitable ?

Good choice Geoff, fantastic understated styling which is rare for a Chinese company.

Brian, according to the description you have to request the 240v model which will take an extra 3 days.

It's the most 'valvey' valve amp I've ever heard. Sweet, lucid and lush doesn't come close to describing it properly. I have very neutral Class A EL34 valve monos for 'correctness', but the little Raphaelite is at the opposite end of the sound spectrum. Accurate? Perhaps not, but it's gorgeous. It will eventually be driving high efficiency full range drivers in horn cabs (not Tannoys for a change)!
