I have this on CD, and it's very faithful to the original vinyl release, barring the editing down of the audience to fit on a single CD.
    What is there to prefer?

The bonus CD is just that, a bonus!

PS - I have a Porkie cut of this on vinyl, so I know what I'm talking about

I think that Punch The Clock is an unfairly underatted EC album.....I saw him on The Punch The Clock Tour in 1983 (known as Punching in Across The UK Tour) at a Tottenham club called the Mayfair......Internet investigation shows a 29 song set, Big Jim Paterson (now Kevin Rowland's side man in Dexys) was one of the TKO horns, Caron Wheeler and Naomi Thompson of backing singers Afrodiziak both went onto other things (Soul II Soul main vocalist and Special AKA....vocals on Free Nelson Mandela).....but the most exciting thing that I'd forgotten was that the support band was Rank & File, which featured the rather excellent Austin icon Alejandro Escovedo, one of my top 5 artists from the last 10 years.

Going to dig out some EC now.

Have to admit it's a while since I've listened to it on vinyl, good excuse to play it again

Just discovered this on Spotify, some very interesting arrangements of 15 Brian Eno compositions.

Definitely will check both out, Mike. I've never heard either of later work, including his last album 9.

At the moment, I am currently listening to some old Megadeth.

    Cryptic Writings by Megadeth

I always seem to forget one of my favorite metal music genres (thrash metal) in favor of some of the other genres I've currently been giving attention. Every once awhile, a few good songs would pop into my head, and today "Truth" was one of them, so I had to give this album a listen.

    Cheers,
    Chris
