Interesting 3 way Sony 'cocoon' speakers. Bit optimistically priced though:

As used by Gambit off of 'The New Avengers' - Wharfedale Airedale SP:

Always wanted to try these (mainly due to the Gambit thing) and the price isn't too bad. Must resist temptation... someone tell me they are crap.

Quite right Andr'e. It was the KA-2000 I was thinking of (I should know, I've owned a couple).
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Love this ad for a Dual turntable - the seller seems to be going for a world record exclamation mark count ...

Apparently it has suffered from 'recent worm days' - sounds painful

This is probably the only preamp I would consider replacing my Toft LBPA5 with.

Told the wife I need it as it matches my EMT's

Surprised it uses 3- and 5-pin Tuchel connectors: would have thought it would use Cannon XLRs!

Amphenol Tuchels in both round 3 & 5 pin or the multi (8 - 32) pin were widely used in studios using German bruanbuch spec equipment. My Telefunken M10 connected to its record and replay amps using a mixture of both types. I've also seen Studer C37's with them as well.
