Feeling gutted, lost Roger (ginger tom on page 20) to a car last Friday . I found him in lying in the road. Tamed him from feral and have scarred hands to show for it, he was just one year old. He loved nibbling toes, catching mice, bossing the other kits, playing in the apple trees, helping with the cooking, and curling up in front of the fire. We miss him dearly.

Sounds like he led an active, interesting and very happy life though.

Hi Claire, so sorry about Roger, we have just spent the afternoon saying goodbye and burying our beloved Foxy who passed a few weeks ago , the sense of loss has been unbearable , the love of a cat is such a precious gift.

Hi Claire,

I'm really sorry to hear about Roger. Losing a much loved pet, especially in those circumstances, is always a horrible thing. Perhaps in due course, it's an opportunity to give another wee moggie the chance of having a loving home?

That's how we usually cope with these matters: create a positive out of a negative. Anyway, try not to let it get you down too much.

Bobby looks lovely, I had a Whippet some while ago which is closely releated to the Bedlington Terrier, they are wonderful animals
