Pah...
I bought a whole Tandberg 3000 series system off a guy (still got it all, various bits need fixing, got some corrosion on the front - the tuner's doing my system proud though, limping along but sounding great!) and the only reason the speakers weren't with it was because they were chucked. Chucked because of rotten bass drivers, that's it!
Defo those mid range drivers are completely wrong! A pair failed to sell last year for £250 with correct drivers: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=290878918740
So I'll be keenly watching these.. get a complete system perhaps?

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

They're all in his other listings.
Geoff2fishing or whatever his handle is has been on ebay for a long while, mostly selling 70s/80s speakers and buying speakers so bit of a hobby he's got.

This was the link I meant to post up for the Griffin 85s: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Griffin-St...-/331178912872
Here are the IMF RSPM mk4s, bit pricey perhaps : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IMF-refren...-/331179159944
Although by the look of some of the photos, he's been doing some running repairs in the garden with a soldering iron and belt sander on a long extension.. Surely you'd want to hide that wouldn't you, give the impression they were always that perfect?
