    Hi Martin,

I wish but budget is tight - up to 200-220 pounds max - after splashing out on tonearm/cartridge, wife will kill me.

Ah sorry, in that case the 428 will still give you a lot of transparency for your money.

I meant to add, as I didn't answer your question, that connectors make a big difference so more on connectors and less on cable is the right way to go.

Martin Do you think that the WBT plugs are worth the extra over the Eichman silver bullets,

No, I think WBT versus Eichman is a personal preference. I like WBTs, others Eichmans. Go with whichever and you'll get a great cable.

Yup, I prefer the sonic effect of silver Eichmanns on tonearm cables, and the silver WBTs in all other applications

Thanks Martin & Marco I appreciate that
I have 4 new silver eichman bullets so I may just get the cable with the cheap plugs on it and swap them over
sorry to be a pest but do you think the 90 deg Cardas tone arm plug is good enough or should I go for the bestest one? .

I have the straight-in Furutech CF. Can't comment on the others.

In my experience, the Furutech CF-DIN(R) makes quite a significant difference, so if you can afford one, my advice would be to go for it!
