Well shit me britches, if it didn't finally happen!
I have missed every opportunity possible to see The Pixies so for one reason or another I never got to see this, one of my most loved bands. The closest I ever got was missing them by one day in Phoenix, Arizona.
This morning the planets finally came into alignment and I hoovered up some tickets for the gig in Manchester in July
    Whoooooo-hooo!

I suspect far too M.O.R. for most of you, but Beverley Craven is touring later this year in support of her new album released in June. Bought a ticket for Ipswich in November, but might also do the opening night in Norwich 4th September. http://www.beverleycraven.com/#!tour/c1t44

A little bit for me Alex, but a talented lady for sure

Quite tempting, Alex, but this year is getting too busy for booking too much more, and I have to keep space for the Proms.

Well, after 1/2 hour of frustrating attempts and re-attempts, despite having pushed the button dead on 09:30, there don't appear to be any Kate Bush tickets available.

    Bollocks to it all.

I lost two transactions Martin, got two tickets (standing) confirmed, placed in a waiting room and then lost them when I was bumped back to the start page. I then managed to get 1 seated in the circle, got right through to payment verification and waited 10 minutes for the bank to verify and it timed out and I lost that ticket too! I guess the credit card servers were overloaded as well.

There were 6 of us, all trying to get 4 tickets each, two were successful (both on SeeTickets) so out of a maximum 24 that we wanted, we got 8. I just have to hope now that there is one left for me, once the two purchasers decide who gets what, hopefully I should be OK

Nearly 80,000 tickets sold in minutes, so she's still popular

You can still get a hospitality ticket for £424.00!

That website is the most f*cked up ticketing system, together with the BBC Proms one, that I've come across.

Surely some web designer is capable of designing a proper website with proper queuing that acts fairly and doesn't keep dumping you back at the start after jumping through all the hoops

As I said, bollocks to it all. I shall enjoy Goldfrapp all the more next week.

I think she should have made it a lottery like the Zeppelin tickets and with the same rules, then we wouldn't get all the rip off re-sales that are already popping up.

Luckily I have now got a seat, but there are a lot of disappointed fans today.

I just got mine, feeling quite pleased with myself to be honest, turns out they are VIP tickets
