    Richard, I think you are being a bit of a drama queen on this one. Either that or you've lent an ear to the shit stirrers. Apart from one forum and one freeby (...) we enjoy good and co-operative relations with admin of other forums - even swapping info about troublesome posters...

    Tape Deck: Tandberg TCD 310, fully restored and recalibrated as new by RDE, plus upgraded with heads from the TCD-420a. Also with matching TM4 Norway microphones.

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp, fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Reading attacks on the audio press gets a bit tedious at times.
    We've had stuff reviewed in three printed UK mainstream magazines (inc HFW), one Japanese magazine and one online mag. Nobody has ever demanded money in exchange for a good write-up and the people associated have always been both friendly and helpful, particularly Noel Keywood, Alan Sircom, and Paul Messenger.

    One of them (HFW) asked if we'd consider advertising with them and we said no for the present time, but possibly at a future date. That hasn't stopped them mentioning and recommending AS stuff to readers in the printed responses to queries.

    Some people need to discard the baggage.
