Mmm, on a BIN of £60 I'd have grabbed them instantly if I hadn't already refurbished my Gales. Looks like a simple re-foam for a great pair of speakers.

EDIT: they look like 2ax so I assume he's mistitled the item?

Yes, they've got the mid range driver, so they'd be 2ax.
Gosh - snap 'em up someone!!!

I'm listening to a pair right now. They are excellent stand mounters - very, very good indeed. You won't go wrong for that sort of price!

Nice, but keep an eye out for the AR5, it was the rather rarer model between the AR2AX and the AR3a and in some ways is better than either. Great mid definition and transparency.

There again, a pair of Magnum K2s or Dovedale IIIs is just as much fun.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I've got some but I paid a tenner for a whole bagfull. They are handy for blocking up the sockets not in use so you don't plug into them by mistake. Not sure why they need running in - or even how you could.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

Apparently they stop RFI entering whatever they're plugged into James . Used on anything with unnused RCA plug . RA sells something similar
