Well I had a bit of fun with the Minis. Then went on to Opel Manta GTEs! Current 'toy' is a Suzuki Carry 1.3 van I've had for seven years, cars come and go but the van is a little cracker.

'The Diceman' is an all time classic, there's nothing else quite like it. I still have a couple of copies knocking about. An absolutely essential read if you've not heard of it!!!
Yeah, 30 years ago would be about right for me too!

In the rugby league state or origin series Queenslanders are canetoads and New South Welshmen are cockroaches. I'm a Queenslander.

CageyH - not very imaginative, but it's the phonetic pronunciation of my initials.
Been using it for years all over the place.

My username comes from the Aubrey/Maturin historic novels by Patrick O'Brian, it is an expression that crops up regularly. I also frequent the TZ UK watch forum, so thought it was appropriate for a mechanical watch fan.

Toads seem to have been on a regular diet of roaches lately.

Mine's sort of ...Spanish...(form of my first name), followed by a misspelled phonetically French "Belgium", the catch being that "ik" is Dutchspeak and means "I".
Doesn't mean s*** to a tree, which is probably the best thing about it.
