I bought this for my Disabled mate for his SME arm { Cos he likes to copy off me } , i thought it a pretty good price, together with the Ed Saunders styli i just ordered him. The total of around £50 altogether should have him a good sounding cartridge.. I recon he'll be happy..

Thanks Dave, please hold into it till i get this fitted for him. My own Shure 'V15/3' is a bit bright sounding tbh, the 'M95' might be a bit more tame, maybe a good filler cart till i locate a Shure 'V15/IV'.. He now has the same TT & Arm as me i should be able to judge by his..

For anyone interested in fitting another arm, when you remove those Linn pattern armbaord you are left with SME pattern..

The Michell Focus One is a nice looking table but that's about it. I bought a special Export version back in the 80's after a chat with "himself" at the Bristol Show when one of the snotty sales people refused to sell me one. Instead of the suede platter, it had the Hydraulic Reference style of platter with the gold plated cones. Looked awesome but it was as microphonic as heck

Export Version! {I know the one you are refering to tho Transrotor 'Golden Shadow' by any chance?}, if you wanted one with Christmas tree lights im sure John would have obliged.. tbh i always thought the 'Focus' sounded best out of the early models My 'Focus One' sounds fantastic, a little bass light but a 5mm Black Acrylic mat put pay to that little issue, even better results with SME 'FD200' damper fitted to the '3009' arm..Shure 'V15/IV' is next move loike..
