    I wonder if anybody will come unstuck putting a big bid in on theses vintage Tannoys?

    Although the cabinets are like the Chatsworths, I'd say by the position of the 12" cut out that they are Audiometrics and don't use a dual concentric driver, so basically, they're worth peanuts!
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I used to have a Series 4S, converted from EL34 to 6550 operation. It was a good sounding amp.

    Faulty Mission 780SE's here, cones look alright so maybe a cheap buy for someone who knows there stuff - only £8 delivery.

    We can guess they were tested & either the bass drivers or tweeters didn't work as there's no biwire links in place

    This line tickled me in that listing:
