Well done, Alan, it's always so satisfying building your own. Those are very nice looking amps and well constructed, if I may say so.

How do you find it sounds?

Thanks Martin the system is sounding very good at the moment and I am very satisfied with it but one of the problems of being into DIY is you never stop thinking about what if?. So I still have a list of neverending mods that I want to impliment hoping it will improve the system again
My main project at present is building one of the paradise phono MC stages from the DIYaudio site and I am expecting that to be a nice step up from my present phono stage.
Thats a beuitifull looking Chord amplifier in your Signature and sound like you have an excellent system there

There are a few threads here about the Paradise stage. Simon (sq) is building or has built one.

Yeah I think Simon has built 4 sets so far and he has made a fantastic job of them, top quality

I've had to stop mine at the moment due to work commitments but this where I am at the moment

    Power Supply is complete

I like to think so James but SWMBO may disagree she says why don't you just get one of those little mini systems

Just bought a piece of 20mm Perspex from E-bay
It arrived with rough cut edges so I sanded them down then put a 5mm bevel on the top edge with my plane followed by fine sand paper on all edges.

It looks and sounds better than the old plywood shelf as well, the deck sounds cleaner and tighter
