Hi, Jason. Coaxial digital is just single phono to single phono. I thought you were looking for an audiophile version of the Sync Lead that Apple supply with IPods (Apple connector at one end and USB at the other). Am I getting my wires crossed?
Apologies in advance if I am.
I have left AOS.
Hi Andrew thanks for your reply mate and thanks for clearing that up regarding the coax cableI was looking for an audiophile version of the Apple lead but then Stu suggested I try the DRDOCK on the IRDAC instead of using the basic Apple lead direct so then I could do away with it. So I was just trying to suss out what a coax cable was as this is what I now need to connect them together.
PS sorry for the confusion I'm confusing myself at the moment with all this wire talk![]()
Just got these too wired up together and to my suprise it sounds much better than using the ipod direct to the dac via the standard Apple cable. So a big thanks to Stu for is adviceAt the moment I'm only using the standard coax lead that came with the dac so I'm hoping a new better coax will really make them sing
I still can't believe this has now totaled up to a £850 digital front end with the ipod drdock ir dac and this is without cables.
Here's a quick pic of them together although the pic doesn't do them justice, they look the dogs in the flesh

Hi allhad a good day today isolating my bits my new Russ Andrews cones and feet arrived today so that's the speakers and stands sorted, the stands are filled too with the atacama bits. I've added some sorba feet to the dac and the dock, also the amp is isolated with the Avid. I've not had a listen yet as I haven't had time

Forgot to add I've isolated the granite plinths too with 4 feet under each bit![]()
Hi Mike after a couple of hours of listening there is definitely a difference in the sound and it's not for the worse, I think I need a few more hours listening time to put my finger on it. Are they worth £104.00 for 8 cones and 8 spike feet I'm not sure yet they don't make a difference as a new cable would that's for sure.
