    A very long time since I heard a pair of those, but my recollection is that they were pretty damn good, as were all MS speakers of that series.


    I'm about to change my avatar again as nobody recognised the Altec 'Voice of the Theatre' speakers. Lets see if anyone gets this one.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Oh Yes! I want these. Altec Lansing 604 drivers. They probably are a bargain at the price.

    Highly unusual and don't sound too bad... Just don't try to "upgrade" the valves like wot I did & end up melting the transformers

    Yes. Corona. I've heard them a couple of times, beautiful treble. God knows what the price is though. Hope they're a bit more durable than the Ionofane.

    Guess I'll have to find another avatar to test people's knowledge now.
