    Default No bargain like mine

I just got the biggest bargain ever (I hope). 300 bucks US for a technics 310 MC. The MM equivalent, the 205 was the loveliest thing. I have high hopes this will be awesome. Score 1 ebay

KEF Chorale speakers £45. Bit of a bargain, in Kingston. Nice sounding speaker.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Interesting to see the Technics mentioned. I bought a clapped out Garrard Zero100 and what should I find but a Technics EPC205 in it. I had one in the 70s and I loved it. At least I think it was that number!! The mind is failing . Is that the one that had the rave reviews back then?? If so, I'm a bit chuffed. If not, I'm still a bit chuffed as this one sounds terrific!! You can get generic stili for around £30, so I will try not to let someone destroy this one.

You lucky lucky bastard. Yup. Thats the beauty. Mk4 was the best but all stonking. Avoid the aftermarket stylus replacement. Get it retipped if necessary. And be careful - they are fragile a beauty Gordon

Mayware arm, looking pretty decent and attracting no attention yet. Seller doesn't know what it is!

Audio Technica AT-OC5, MC cartridge, only bid up to £9.99 so far. Apparently in good order.

Chinese three way speaker crossovers. Not much data provided, but worth the money just for the inductors.
